This Pinot Nero gets sold out quickly every year and there is no surprise as to why. This is comparable to some of the Premier Crus of Burgundy and definitely better than many Village-level wines. This juicy Pinot Nero is concentrated but not heavy enough to tire the palate, leaving enough one with room to continue with each sip until the bottle is empty. Harvested in the heart of Barolo from a twenty year old vineyard at a height of 370 metres. Fourteen days of juice-skin contact has extracted much flavour and colour, accentuating its aromatic expression. Aged for nine months in three year old oak barrels.
