When we walked through the vineyards of this Barbera site, we noticed something peculiar. Insects and animals were flocking to the vineyard and it was teeming with life compared to the neighbour’s vineyard in the next row of vines. Their soils were dried up, without moisture and dead. This is the difference between “Greta” (named after his baby girl) and other Barbera d’Albas. When drinking Greta, one experiences a wine teeming with life and energy. This wine is without sulphur additions during the winemaking process because the level of tannins and acidity is enough to preserve the wine. Can be left for two nights at 17-20 °C after opening.
